A rectangular hand-knotted jute area rug featuring a bold, allover repeating ikat pattern arranged in a symmetrical vertical grid. The dominant color is a deep, slightly muted indigo-blue that fills the background and the large central motifs, while warm sandy beige and soft gray form the feathered, flame-like ikat shapes. Lighter teal-blue accents appear within the motif interiors. The pattern repeats four times vertically and twice horizontally across the rug's face, with each motif featuring the characteristic blurred, brushstroke-like edges typical of ikat weaving. The pile is very low and flat with a slightly coarse, textured surface consistent with natural jute construction. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
