A rectangular hand-knotted wool rug with a deep near-black charcoal ground saturated with a vivid teal and cobalt blue overdye. The central field features a large elongated hexagonal medallion composed of layered geometric diamond and floral-lattice motifs in teal, blue, and dark gray. Surrounding the medallion is an allover field of smaller repeating geometric and floral-inspired motifs in the same blue-teal palette against the black ground. The rug is framed by multiple concentric borders — a narrow inner guard border and a wider outer border filled with repeating geometric ornaments in blue and teal on black. The construction is flat and low with a slightly worn, distressed surface texture consistent with an overdyed vintage finish. Edges are bound with no fringe or tassels.
