Follow these steps to keep your shag rugs looking their best:
- Use a wool-approved product in combination with spray extraction for cleaning.
- Note that shedding is a normal occurrence for shag rugs and will decrease over time. Avoid pulling the yarn out as it may cause rug damage.

A rectangular hand-woven shag rug with a warm cream/ivory base and charcoal gray geometric patterning arranged in distinct horizontal bands. The pattern alternates between rows of interlocking diamond lattice motifs, rows of small open circles or oval shapes, and thin horizontal line borders — all in a classic Moroccan Berber style. The pile is visibly thick and slightly tousled/shaggy, giving the surface a textured, handmade appearance with slight irregularities that add to its artisanal character. Both short ends are finished with knotted fringe/tassels in a natural cream color, approximately 3 inches long.
