A rectangular machine-woven flatweave rug with a classic Persian medallion layout. The field is a soft, cool light gray with a large central diamond-shaped medallion rendered in muted rust-orange, peach, and faint light blue outlines with intricate floral scrollwork filling the interior. Surrounding the medallion are scattered small floral and geometric motifs in rust, dark navy, and peach against the gray ground. The rug features multiple layered borders — a narrow inner border and a wider outer border — both filled with repeating floral and vine motifs in the same rust, peach, cream, and gray palette. The overall finish has a gently distressed, faded quality giving it a vintage antique appearance.
